About the Shop

Hero Shop opened its first location in 2016 in San Francisco's vibrant and historic Tenderloin neighborhood (this location closed in 2020). 

In 2019, Hero Shop opened its current flagship at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Partnering with labels including Dries Van Noten, The Row, Khaite, Gabriela Hearst and more, the store has become beloved among fashion insiders in the city and around the world for its careful edit of ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes, bags, and gift items and exceptional customer service.

As for the name, Hero Shop refers to a lot of things, especially the transformative nature of things we love. The perfect birthday gift can save someone's day. Or the right cuff bracelet can turn an ordinary human into Wonder Woman. We all have the power to be heroic in different ways. Just like Bowie said.
