Founded in New York City in 2023 by Thistle Brown and Callan Malone, Thistles creates refined eyewear inspired by the ease of the 1990s. Each frame is handcrafted in Japan from premium cellulose acetate, featuring an understated, quietly distinctive sensibility.
The Malone Sunglasses feature a rectangular titanium wire frame inspired by the relaxed attitude of ’70s aviators, complete with a distinctive double brow bar. Crafted from ultra-lightweight titanium, they offer a barely-there feel while maintaining a strong, structured silhouette. Finished with acetate tips, titanium nose pads, and five-barrel hinges, each pair is handcrafted in Italy and fitted with UV-protective Poly Renew lenses for lasting wear.
