Totême was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling, Swedish blogger and fashion journalist, with her husband Karl Lindman. Based in Stockholm, the label explores the appeal of a modern uniform through distinct design cues, meticulous craftsmanship, and methodic repetition. The signature cotton shirt is constructed with a dipped back hem, resulting in a chic A-line profile. It's made in Portugal from crisp organic-cotton poplin accented with navy stripes and shaped to a wide, slightly oversized silhouette with a point collar, mother-of-pearl buttons at the placket and cuffs, and an embroidered monogram at the front.
