B Sides was founded by longtime friends and fashion industry veterans Claire Lampert and Stacy Daily who began collecting antique denim as founders of the curated-vintage boutique Where I Was From. They started producing their own denim in 2017 and sourcing from family-owned mills in Georgia and North Carolina that have provided workwear textiles to farm supply stores since the 19th century. The denim is pleasingly weighty yet comfortable to wear.
The Painter Pant is a modern cargo silhouette crafted from cotton-rich chino with a relaxed, utilitarian sensibility. Designed to sit just below the natural waist, it features a slim fit through the hips and a full-length, relaxed straight leg. Deep patch pockets, oversized back pockets, and signature brass hardware lend a functional edge, while the overdyed blue wash and stone-washed finish create a soft, lived-in feel.
