Artisanal handbag label Muuñ produces its coveted basket bags as part of an ongoing project between Ghana and Paris. Merging African, French and Japanese influences, each piece is hand-woven, hand-dyed using traditional herbs, then sent to Paris where fabrics, leather, and ribbon details are added to create one-of-a-kind pieces for the luxe traveler.

Handwoven in Ghana - The straw base is hand-weaved with resistant elephant grass, taking 2 or 3 days of work. The bag is finished and assembled in our workshop in France. The inside pouch is sewed by people with disabilities working for ISTA.
